As fate would have it, Jan was watching Zoe last Monday evening while I was at volleyball, and captured Zoe's first successful attempt at sitting. We are so lucky that Jan captured this footage. We hope you enjoy!

Zoe's First Trip to Longwood Gardens
We couldn't wait to bring Zoe to one of our favorite places in the Philly area - Longwood Gardens. Jan and I have visited here many times before, enjoying hours of wandering through grounds. So, on this Saturday, we decided to make the trip with Zoe. The weather was great, sunny and warm, and the company even better, Nancy, Charlie and Trevor joined us for the day.
Here is Jan and Zoe getting comfortable on the main lawn in front of the visitor's center.

A nice photo of Nancy, Trevor and Charlie standing near the entrance of the new Kid's Garden.
I couldn't help but include a few of photos of actual plants. Jan took two wonderful photos of the water lilies. The newly updated water lily area was just amazing. We could have spent hours there alone.
Zoe didn't find the lilies as fascinating as the adults. Gotta love the strap in her face, right?
And, why not finish with this great shot of Nancy and Trevor.

Aunt Joan's 70th Bday Surprise BBQ
My cousin Gayle planned a surprise party to celebrate my Aunt Joan's 70th birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Wy drove up from Delaware and joined us for the trip to Phillipsburg for the family BBQ. We have lots and lots of photos from the day and are only posting a few of them here. If you want to see more, just send me an email and I will be happy to forward more along to you.

July Photo Shoot
It had been awhile since our last formal photo shoot, so we thought we would take advantage of our daughter's good mood (and the good weather, see shots below) and take a few photos.
We just love the curl just above her right ear. She's got mommy's hair, that's for sure!
To jazz things up a little bit, we decided to take Zoe outside to the front lawn for part 2 of the photo shoot. Our goal was to make her smile for the camera.
We had to rely on Mr. Crocodile's help to get Miss Zoe smiling.
Now that's better!
