One month later...

So, one month after what was suppose to be her official "Tol" party, we finally dressed up Zoe in formal Korean attire, ordered up the official Tol food, and had a little celebration with Jan's parents.

Here are some photos of the festivities, care of "Hara-buh-jee"" (aka Grandpa Cho). Let's start with Zoe in her American outfit first.

Now, isn't she precious...

That's our girl, never sitting still but always having fun.

2010 Blizzard #2

This storm didn't cause us to cancel any celebratory event ... it just caused my office to close (but I still had a full day of teleconferences anyway) and forced me into several hours of heavy snow removal. We are hearty folks, the day after the storm Zoe and I drove to day care and went right back to work. I think Jan was happy to have the house back to herself for the day. Can't get too much work done with a husband and baby around. Anyway, here are few photos Jan took of the storm's aftermath.

Zoe and the Cupcake

Even though we postponed Zoe's first birthday party, Jan wanted her to enjoy a piece of cake (or in this case a beautifully decorated cupcake) as part of her first year celebration. This was the very first time we would feed Zoe anything so sweet and we were curious what she would think of it ... here are few photos, first of the cupcakes (nice job Jan!) and then of Zoe eating one. You can make up your own mind how much she liked it...

Zoe's Tol, canceled due to Blizzard

So, the second big snowstorm of the season and the first of two blizzards in 2010 - we hope - canceled Zoe's Tol (first birthday party). Here are few photos of the 14 inches of snow that fell on Saturday.

We tried to make the best of the day inside. Zoe enjoyed her books and and pushing around her Fisher Price walker.

Let's play peek-a-boo!

Hey, I like that camera....

Picking up Zoe at Day Care

We haven't included many photos of Zoe's day care, so I thought we might add a few from a recent visit. You just have to love all of the little chairs and tables. What a motley crue, right?

A visit to the Stocks

We were invited for dinner over at Nancy and Charlie's at the beginning of January. Zoe got to meet Charlie's parents for the first time and also spent some quality time playing with her buddy Trevor.

"Come on Zoe, let's for a ride in my new Radio Flyer!"

Not so sure Zoe trusts her driver. =)

Catching Up After Three Months ... Happy New Year!

Happy 2010! It certainly has been a busy and exciting 2009 in our house. We can't wait for all of the new surprises 2010 is sure to bring .. Zoe seems to change and do something new every day.

So, I have been VERY delinquent in my postings since our OBX photos were posted in October. I thought I would use one post and catch you up on all that has been happening.

October Photo Shoot
Let's start with a few precious photos of Zoe that Jan took as part of another one of her "shoots". taken in mid October. Such a sweet face.

Not sure what she is trying to tell us here? =)

Random Photo
A random photo of me trimming Zoe's finger nails. If only she were always this cooperative!

Happy Halloween!!

Enjoy some of photos of our busy bee....

Zoe and her favorite teacher, Christine (sometimes referred to as Mommy #2)

I just LOVE this shot of Zoe flying....

Not sure that bees eat leaves, but what do I know?

Sleeping Zoe
Here's another shot of Zoe taking a snooze in her stroller - this time we were walking along the Schuylkill the weekend before Thanksgiving. I can't help but take photos of Zoe when she is sleeping. There really is nothing cuter.

Macy's Thanksgiving Day "Pre"-Rade
We all ventured into NYC the day before Thanksgiving to check out the "balloon blowing up" scene the evening before the big Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. Lots of colorful characters lining the streets around the Museum of Natural History on the Upper West Side.

Zoe and Mommy on the way back home on NJ Transit.

Black Friday Shopping
During a Black Friday shopping trip, we decided to let Zoe drive us to the next store. She seemed thrilled with this idea!

You gotta just love that hat!!

Post Thanksgiving Day Visit
"Hay-Mo-Nee" and "Hara-buh-jee" stopped by right after Thanksgiving to take play with their granddaughter and also take some photos as well. Their daughter decided to turn the tables and took some photos of them instead. Enjoy.

Zoe likes her Hara-buh-jee

Hay-Mo-Nee is always trying to feed her granddaughter!!

Hey, this is fun!

Perhaps Zoe has a future a photographer. What a good assistant helping with the lens... yikes!

Post Thanksgiving Run
Another two shots of Zoe sleeping in her stroller after a run outside with Daddy ... the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

December Photo Shoot
A few shots from a December photo shoot ... some with our Christmas tree as a backdrop.

Nice face Zoe!

Such a sweet shot with the sun shining on her sleeve...

Holiday Get Together
Jan decided to have a little holiday get together with my parents and some of our friends in mid December. We got some great shots of Zoe playing with all of the kids who stopped by for the afternoon.

Here is Fiona Loschiavo entertaining Zoe with her favorite stuffed animal, Elmo.

Fiona's sister Audrey join the fun bringing another Elmo to play with...

Here are Zoe and buddy Trevor.
